So, for all the lazy gals out there, we've curated a few messy hairstyles that give that roll-out-of-bed hair a stylish flare. From red-carpet favourites to hairstyles with a boho touch, from short to long, we've got all your messy hair needs covered!
#1 - The Wet Look

One of the coolest and trendiest things to do with your messy hair, is to give it that wet touch. This one's definitely a red-carpet favourite.
- Step 1: You can begin creating this look by sectioning your hair and applying Livon Damage Protect Serum. Take a curling tong and start creating messy waves.
- Step 2: Once you're done with all sections, simply ruffle your hair, and give it a bit of a shake.
- Step 3: Scoop up some wet styling gel and apply it to your hair-from the tip to the crown.
- Step 4: Use the gel to push back the front of your hair a little, so that it sits nicely. Use a comb to neaten it out a little and create that push back effect.
#2 - Two Buns In Pod

Running late? We've got you covered! This messy hairstyle is trendy, edgy, and can be whipped up in a moment.
- Step 1: Detangle your hair by combing or brushing it out. Divide it into two sections - top and bottom.
- Step 2: Start with the top section by lifting it into a ponytail and securing it with a hair-tie.
- Step 3: Twist the ponytail around the hair-tie to create a small space bun, on the crown of your head. Secure it with a hair-tie and bobby pins.
- Step 4: Repeat the same for the section below.
- Step 5: Pull out a few strands of hair to accentuate the messiness-but remember not to go too overboard or else you'll end up looking a tad shabby.
#3 - The Scarf Bun

When in doubt, throw in a scarf. This hair accessory is the perfect addition to any hairstyle-especially if you're going for that messy effect.
- Step 1: Pull your hair into a half ponytail and secure it with a hair-tie.
- Step 2: Create a small gap in your hair, just above the hair-tie. Pull the end of the ponytail through the gap and loop it in to create that bun. Let the ends hang down.
- Step 3: Wrap a scarf around the hair-tie, essentially securing the bun too and let it flow into the rest of your hair.
- Step 4: Give your look that boho touch by braiding a very small section of your loose hair, at the back of your head. You can do just one, or repeat it on both sides, it's totally up to you.
- Step 5: Spritz Livon Shake & Spray Serum at the front and lightly pat it down with a toothbrush. This'll keep the flyaways at bay.
#4 - Braided Half Ponytail

If you've got long, messy wavy hair and are just tired of wearing it down, this hairstyle is meant for you!
- Step 1: Feel free to accentuate your waves by tonging them a little for that defined, yet messy effect.
- Step 2: Once you're happy with the way your hair looks, take a small section from the right side of your hair and begin braiding it. You can either go for a fishtail or a simple braid. Let it run all the way to the end, and then secure it with a hair-tie.
- Step 3: Take a section of hair from both sides and the top and secure your hair into a low half ponytail. When you're doing this, make sure your hair goes over the braid you created in step 2 and not under it.
